Tetiana Sabitova
Strategy Advisor / Executive Coach

Tetiana has spent 25+ years building out organizational excellence, relationship mastery and driving performance for leading organizations across the globe, including the last 10 years as a Director of the National Sales Office at Deloitte.

Tetiana is a very early adaptor of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion framework, having lived and worked in the Ukraine, other Central and Eastern European countries as well as the United States and Canada. Tetiana has always believed that diversity of thought, equity and inclusion lead to a more innovative culture and help to improve organizational agility. In 2000 Tetiana became a Certified Trainer of Bridging the Gap, a cross-cultural program created in Seattle to improve access and foster inclusion in healthcare and other critical services. Tetiana developed solution-based program strategies to help leading health insurance companies (Kaiser Permanente, Providence St. Joseph Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield, etc.) improve access for diverse populations.

After moving to Canada in 2008 Tetiana joined Deloitte, a global professional services firm, and became a lead coach for Canada’s Best Managed Companies Awards Program, which recognizes excellence in private Canadian-owned companies and celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit, determination, and innovation of that community. Since then, this program has been launched in over 50 countries around the globe. In 2021 Tetiana was appointed the Global Coaching Leader for Global Best Managed Companies. In this role she developed an entirely new coaching and assessment framework for Deloitte, CIBC and other Global sponsors of the program, introducing DE&I metrics, in additional to previously used strategic, financial and operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Tetiana encouraged the business community of Canada and the US to take diversity and inclusion to the next level: moving from optics to outcomes, which requires courage and vision. She grounded her work in the belief that an inclusive learning culture is where all employees connect, belong, and grow. To enable the DEI framework, executive leaders need to develop a shared purpose that goes beyond economic profits.

Tetiana ran over 200 strategy sessions with executives of global leading privately held companies each year, “looking under the hood” and aggregating invaluable insight as to what makes an entrepreneurial company successful long-term.

Being a Certified External Business Chemistry Facilitator, Tetiana uses science to improve the art of business relationships. Her client-facing Business Chemistry (BC) sessions were utilized by Deloitte’s human capital and strategy consulting teams to set the tone for an upcoming change management mandate or strategic re-organization mandate for leading organizations in Canada and US, such as Arthritis Foundation, Questrade and Tridel.

Tetiana is an experienced executive coach, specializing in “level-up’ and milestone programs focused on inclusive leadership, communication, performance management and team dynamics. Her international experience spans a decade of working in the US (health care access services sector), leading Business Development Department for VKP Law Firm in Ukraine and serving as a Secretary General to the Consulate of newly independent Ukraine in Bucharest, Romania (1992-1994).

Tetiana Sabitova is a Board Member of The Aria Foundation, a charitable organization that helps non-for-profit housing partners empower lower-income families to become homeowners.

Community Work and Awards

Since the beginning of the recent war in the Ukraine, Tetiana has been working closely with the Ukrainian Canadian Congress and Pathfinders for Ukraine to help incoming Ukrainians find meaningful employment in Canada. She received “The Community Changemaker Award” for this groundbreaking work. In 2022 Tetiana led the development and launch of “Canada-Ukraine Professional Network” on LinkedIn that helps newcomers, especially women, integrate into the Canadian professional life. Tetiana’s work on women’s newcomer mentorship and coaching has been featured on “Empowered” TV and in “Ukrainian Mothers & Children of War” documentary.

Working with business leaders of Ukrainian descent (Multiplex, Ellis Don, Zirkova Vodka, Horizon Capital, etc.) and one of Canada’s most iconic architectural firms – WZMH – Tetiana serves on the judging panel of Rebuild Ukraine Hackathon, which currently involves +45 Ukrainian Universities with the mission to support the youth of Ukraine and showcase the knowledge and skills of Ukrainian youth on the path to Ukraine’s reconstruction.
