FDR has a commitment to serving professional development and training needs of thousands of learners in Canada, the US and internationally. FDR team is flexible in its response to emerging needs of students, employers and individuals. FDR seeks to expand learning opportunities for adult learners or businesses, community groups and individuals interested in accessing FDR training and coaching potential.

The FDR team is well informed of current evaluation approaches and issues through our participation in and leading workshops presented by the Canadian Evaluation Society, American Evaluation Association, International Association for Feminist Economists, American Social Science Association, Engineers Without Borders USA, among others.

Knowledge Management & Knowledge Translation

Research & Analysis for Policy & Planning

FDR has extensive experience working with municipal and federal level planning bodies in North America and internationally in providing research aimed at informing public policy and planning as well as analyzing and modeling risk through econometric tools.

Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)

FDR experts work with partners and service providers in the planning and implementation of solutions to apparent and underlying challenges to achieve sustainable access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH). FDR experts adopt a holistic approach to WASH challenges including access to finance, technical planning based on appropriate data collection and analysis, suitable operations and maintenance models and constant monitoring, evaluation and program enhancement. FDR experts have successfully completed WASH projects in several countries in sub-Saharan Africa, Central Asia, Europe, Latin America and in Canada.
