Alex is an experienced IT & Cyber Security Professional with extensive experience in IT Governance, IT Service Management, IT Operations, Cyber Security Governance and Operations, Risk Management, Datacenter Management, ISO 27001:2013 Implementation & Auditing, Enterprise Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Cyber Security Threats Management (Endpoint/Network/Application/Cloud), Cloud Technologies, Business Continuity Management, Virtualization, Compliance, Vendor Management, Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing, Business Process Optimization, Data Protection/Privacy, Audit Planning, Control Assessment and Project Management.

Alex has worked in the banking, technology and consulting industries as well as academia where he enjoys imparting to students and practicing professionals. He facilitates and coordinates on a project basis in the area of IT for Development (IT4D) Projects for FDR where he brings his experience and ability to relate to people to deliver on projects that bring about socio-economic change. He loves to travel when he’s not playing with gadgets.

He holds industry certifications from PECB, ISACA, APMG, VMWare and IBM. He is an alumni of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology in Ghana where he holds a bachelors degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and the Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands where he holds an MBA in Corporate Strategy & Economic Policy.
